What is the difference between a slatted base and a disc base?

With a slatted base, your mattress rests on slightly curved slats. A disc base, such as the Revor Senze, replaces those slats with 60 round discs that move independently of each other. As a result, the base follows the shape of your body more closely and distributes pressure more finely. A disc base is usually a slightly bigger investment than a classic slatted base.
