The Revor Sleeping Tips

To do

  • Sports and physical exercise are good for your sleep. Ending up tired in bed, makes you sleep like a rose.
  • Maintaining a good biorythm, having regular hours to go to sleep and rise in the morning are key. Your sleep and waking hours should be the same in the weekend as they are on weekdays.. nobody manages that, but hey.. good to know, right?
  • Relax before you go to bed, taking a warm bath before entering dreamland works like a charm.
  • Maintain a comfortable temperature in your bedroom, not to hot, not to cold. Having it between 15 and 18 degrees is perfect.
  • Make sure you sleep enough! This sound obvious, but most people just don’t sleep enough. Be sure you sleep the hours you need, your energy level will thank you.
  • Be sure your bedroom is dark enough, light disturbs your sleep. So, good curtains and not too bright clock radios will make the magic happen.
  • A warm cup of milk or other, non stimulating hot drinks just work!
Not to do
  • Don’t drink caffeine, so coffee or even tea (theine) are the devil. (not literally)
  • Alcohol before bedtime seems like a good idea, but thrust us.. it's not.
  • If you just can’t sleep, don’t stay in bed. Get up and do something relaxing to remove those unwanted thoughts.
  • Make sure you leave enough time between eating a few snacks and going to bed. A working stomach keeps you awake at night!
  • Sleeping pills don’t help you sleep healthy. They disturb the general sleeping patterns, which leaves you tired in the morning.
  • Plants in the bedroom look nice, but… they create oxygen by day and use the remaining oxygen by night. Make sure your room is well ventilated!
