1 WHY THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT?

Everyone who visits this Website (hereinafter the “User”) as well as anyone who uses our services (hereinafter the “Customer”) almost inevitably offers up certain personal details.  These personal details are information that enables us to identify you as a natural person, regardless of whether we actually do this. You are identifiable as soon as a direct or indirect relationship can be established between one or more personal details and you as a natural person. Hereinafter we also refer to the Visitor and the Customer as the “Person concerned”.

We use and process your personal details in accordance with the GDPR and other relevant legislation. Every reference in this Privacy Statement to the GDPR is a reference to the Regulation of the European Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation).

2 WHO PROCESSES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

2.1: The controller

REVOR GROUP will separately or jointly, in collaboration with others, decide which personal data are collected and the purpose and resources for the processing of this personal data. Consequently REVOR GROUP is a “controller” under the provisions of the GDPR.

REVOR GROUP has taken adequate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data of its Visitors and Customers. REVOR GROUP uses several adequate security technologies and procedures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use or publication. REVOR GROUP ensures that the provided personal data are securely stored in a controlled environment.

2.2: Processor(s)

REVOR GROUP works with carefully-selected “data processors” for the processing of the personal data of Visitors and Customers. REVOR GROUP works with the following categories of “Processors”.

• Companies we work with for ICT-technical support, hosting and online marketing;

• Companies we work with for administrative purposes;

• Companies we work with for logistical purposes;

With a view to ensure the optimal protection of the personal data of the Persons concerned, REVOR GROUP has made the required contractual agreements with these processors to ensure that they apply the same high standards as REVOR GROUP.

Personal data may only be transferred to a processor outside the EEA (European Economic Area) to countries for which the Belgian Privacy Authority has established that they offer the same, adequate level of protection.

3 ON WHICH LEGAL BASIS ARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED?

In accordance with the GDPR, we process personal data based on the following legal grounds:

• Based on the execution of the agreement, as agreed with the Customer, or the execution of precontractual steps, taken on behalf of the Party concerned; or

• Based on compliance with legal or regulatory provisions relating to the management of the contractual relationship with the Customer, especially in regard to invoicing;

• Based on the legitimate interest of answering the requests for information by Visitors and Customers;

• Based on our legitimate interest for sending promotional offers (direct marketing) to our Customers;

• Based on the express consent for sending promotional offers (direct marketing) to Visitors;

4 WHICH PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

REVOR GROUP commits to only collect and process those personal data that are relevant and necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.

More specifically we process the following categories of personal information:

• Possible business information (name, VAT number);

• Contact details (phone number and e-mail address);

The processing of your personal data is vital for the good functioning of this Website and the services related to it. The collection of personal data is extended as the Person concerned makes more intensive use of our Website and our online services.

Your personal data are kept as long as necessary for the purposes of the aforementioned objectives. They are deleted from our database when they are no longer necessary for our objectives or if the Person concerned exercises his right to the removal of the personal data.

10 POSSIBILITY TO FILE A COMPLAINT

If you have comments or complaints about the way we process your data, we request that you notify us of them first. This enables us to arrive at an amicable solution in joint consultation.  If you are still not satisfied with the processing of your personal data by the REVOR GROUP after this notification, you have the right to submit a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority (for Belgium: https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be/).
